Description
A huge mass of ooze and tentacles, the Abyss Ooze can often be more than 100 miles long. It il extremely aggressive and mill attack anything that enters its terrain. Unable to leave the trench in which it lives, the ooze spends its whole life growing towards the ocean floor. Due to the multitude of adventurers who died fighting the ooze, there are large numbers of weapons, shields, armour, and even magic artefacts suspended in the ooze.
Lair and Lair Actions
The Abyss Ooze lives in deep trenches in the sea floor. These trenches are naturally dark but also have a level of magical light that can only be penetrated by spell above 3rd level.
Lair actions
grow a 10ft section of the ooze grows by 10ft upwards or the ooze grows 20 ft longer.
Open the ooze tears itself open to unleash powerful necrotic energy. It takes 30 damage and casts harm on up to 8 creatures within its lair.
I probably miss levelled this creature take difficulty level 12 with a pinch of salt. I could bear this at level 12 but if you are a spelcaster or have less hp then it might be a bit harder.
