Cold Aura. Any hostile creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of the Undead General takes 4 (2d4) cold damage.
Detect Life. The Undead General can magically sense the presence of living creatures up to 5 miles away. It knows the general direction they're in but not their exact location. Undead and Constructs are immune to this ability.
Turn Resistance. The Undead General had advantage on saving throws against Turn Undead.
Undead Fortitude. If damage reduces the Undead General to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant or from a critical hit. On a success, the Undead General drops to 1 hit point instead.
Multiattack. The Undead General makes two attacks with its tyranny blade.
Tyrant Blade. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (4d6 + 6) slashing damage. A creature hit by this blade must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be frightened of the Undead General for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. If a creature succeeds it is immune to the blade's effect for 24 hours.
Dreadful Gaze. One creature of the Undead General's choice within 30 feet of the Undead General that it can see, and the creature can see the Undead General, must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw, unless the creature is incapacitated. On a failed save, the target magically begins to turn into stone and is restrained. It must repeat the saving throw at the end of its next turn. On a success, the effect ends. On a failure, the target is petrified until freed by the greater restoration spell or other magic.
Raise Dead (Recharge 6). The Undead General touches a corpse that has been dead for no longer than 1 hour. The corpse is then raised as a zombie which is under the control of the Undead General. The zombie moves on the same turn as the Undead General. Undead and Constructs cannot be raised and the corpse must be mostly intact. If the Undead General dies, any undead it raised die.
Description
The reanimated remains of a great general. These undead serve as leaders for groups of undead that serve a more powerful master. They are much more powerful than a regular raised corpse, capable of raising the bodies of the recently dead, with complete control over the ones they raise. They also have an innate sense of any living creature close by.
It takes a powerful necromancer to raise this form of undead.
