Charge. If the Bonbrier moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a tusk attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 4 (1d6) slashing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 10 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Relentless (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). If the Young Bonbrier takes 10 damage or less that would reduce it to 0 hit points, it is reduced to 1 hit point instead.
Glowing Embers. The Bonbrier may take some tome to immerse itself into the earth, leaving only its back exposed. While immersed in this way, it is indistinguishable from a normal bonfire. To notice this from afar, a creature must succeed a DC 25 perception check. If a creature attempts a survival check involving the fire, and it makes a 20 or above, then it notices the Explosive Ambush and has advantage against it. This process takes at least an hour, if not more.
Multiattack. This creature makes one Tusk attack and one Bite attack.
Tusk. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) slashing damage plus 7 (2d6) fire damage.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) fire damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 14). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the Campbrier can't bite another target. While restrained in this way, the creature takes 5 (2d4) fire damage at the beginning of each of its turns.
Cinder Spark. In response to an incoming melee attack, the Bonbrier can direct its back plume at its opponent. The creature must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw. It takes 1d10 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Explosive Ambush. If the Bonbrier is under the effects of Glowing Embers, and a creature enters within 5 ft of it, it make cause an fiery explosion to erupt from its back. Each creature must make a DC 15 dexterity check, causing 6d6 fire damage, halving the damage on a success. The Bonbrier then erupts from the ground and may make one bite attack against one creature in range.
Description
A younger version of the massive Bonbriar. This massive hog is a subspecies of the Campbrier, only found on the island of Coral Kai. While it has not yet reached it's full size, the horse sized ambush predator is not to be taken lightly. At about the height of a horse, this massive boar can easily overpower even the strongest adventurers
