As the dragon matures and changes color, it gains additional spells as shown below. However, it can only use one (1) of these spells per day.
Pink: dancing lights
Red: minor illusion
Orange: color spray
Yellow: mirror image
Green: invisibility

Familiar. This faerie dragon can serve another creature as a familiar, forming a magic, telepathic bond with that willing companion. While the two are bonded, the companion can sense what the dragon senses as long as they are within 1 mile of each other. While the dragon is within 10 feet of its companion, the companion shares the dragon’s Magic Resistance trait. At any time and for any reason, the dragon can end its service as a familiar, ending the telepathic bond.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage.
Euphoria Breath (Recharge 5–6). The dragon exhales a puff of euphoria gas at one creature within 5 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw, or for 1 minute, the target can’t take reactions and must roll a d6 at the start of each of its turns to determine its behavior during the turn:
1–4. The target takes no action or bonus action and uses all of its movement to move in a random direction.
5–6. The target doesn’t move, and the only thing it can do on its turn is make a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Description
The mischievous faerie dragons came from a branch of the dragon family tree closely related to pseudodragons and hail from the Feywild. While most are intelligent and capable of using language, sometimes eggs are afflicted by magical corruption, resulting in a stunted hatchling with lower intelligence and limited magic, making these dragons better suited as companions to adventurers.
Prismatic Evolution. Faerie dragons have magnificent, iridescent scales that change color as they mature. They are born pink, turning red, then orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue and finally violet. The dragons mature naturally as they age, but may also mature more rapidly through experience when bonded with an adventurer.
Draconic Familiars. Because these faerie dragons have reduced intelligence and spellcasting ability, they are more inclined to form a magic, telepathic bond with another creature as a familiar, especially to increase their own chances at survival. When a faerie dragon finds an agreeable companion, it bonds with that person as long as it is treated fairly. A dragon puts up with no ill treatment, and it abandons a manipulative or abusive companion without warning.
Language of Emotion. These faerie dragons can’t speak, but they communicate using a limited form of telepathy that allows them to share basic ideas such as hunger, curiosity, or affection. When it bonds with a companion, the dragon can communicate what it sees and hears even over long distances.
The dragon often vocalizes animal noises. A rasping purr indicates pleasure, while a hiss means unpleasant surprise. A bird-like chirping represents desire, and a growl always means anger or discontent.
