False Appearance. The Wretched Round-Up can retract it's five spider-like legs into its chassis at will, allowing it to look unidentifiable from a regular park attraction. A DC 18 Investigation or Perception check, however, can reveal what it truly is.
Multiattack. The Wretched Round-Up can make five Spinning Bludgeon attacks, or two Spinning Bludgeon attacks and one Slam attack.
Spinning Bludgeon. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d6 + 5) bludgeoning damage.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (4d6 + 5) bludgeoning damage.
Charge (Recharge 5-6). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 25 ft., one target. Hit: 23 (5d6 + 5) bludgeoning damage. Move the Wretched Round-Up within 5 feet of the target. Any creature within the path of its movement must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 20 (3d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone, and on a successful save, the creature takes half damage and stays on its feet. The Wretched Round-Up's target then must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or be crushed on its weight. On a failed save, the creature takes an additional 28 (5d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone. On a successful save, the creature takes no damage and is not knocked prone.
Vent Steam (Recharge 4-6). As a reaction to a melee attack, the Wretched Round-Up can open up a vent, releasing a blast of hot steam towards the attacker. The creature must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 22 (4d10) fire damage, or half as much on a successful save.
Description
The Wretched Round-Up is a large construct that resembles an amusement park ride (as its name entails) or some kind of large revolving mechanism. It has 5 spider-like legs that it uses to get around and can retract these legs at will. It has a nature akin to its creators, but it is usually evil; only wishing to ambush and kill any creature that comes near it. The creator of such a useless and violent device must have something very wrong with them.
