Hardened Scales. Zauriik's many battles have left his scaly hide scarred and toughened, reducing all damage he takes by 1d8 and making him immune to critical hits.
Crushing Jaws. Zauriik's bite attack scores a critical hit on a 19 or 20 and does triple damage to any creature that is size Large or smaller.
Multiattack. Zauriik makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws. Zauriik can replace one of these with a tail attack or replace his bite attack with a death roll.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 6) piercing damage. A large or smaller creature that is hit by Zauriik's bite attack becomes grappled and must make a DC 16 Strength saving throw to escape. Zauriik can make attack rolls with his bite at advantage against a creature grappled in this way. Only one creature can be grappled in this way at a time.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (3d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage.
Death Roll. Zauriik crushes down harder with his jaws and begins to roll and spin violently, thrashing any creature grappled by his bite. The grappled creature must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or take 11 (2d10) bludgeoning damage and 11 (2d10) piercing damage.
