Antimagic Susceptibility. The sword is incapacitated while in the area of an antimagic field while less than fifty years old. If targeted by dispel magic, while less than 100 years old for each level of spell slot the spell is cast in the sword must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against the caster's spell save DC or fall unconscious for 1 minute.

False Appearance. While the sword remains motionless and isn't flying, it is indistinguishable from a normal sword.

Magic Weapon. The wraithblades attacks' count as magical weapon attacks.

Life Stealer. (100 years old required) When the sword attacks a target and rolls a 20 on the Attack roll, that target takes an extra 10 (3d6) necrotic damage, provided that the target isn’t a construct or an Undead. The sword then gains temporary Hit Points equal to the extra damage dealt.

Vorpal Sword. (500 years old required) The sword gains a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls. In addition, the weapon's attacks ignores resistance to slashing damage.

When the sword attacks a creature that has at least one head with this weapon and roll a 20 on the attack roll, it cuts off one of the creature’s heads. The creature dies if it can’t survive without the lost head. A creature is immune to this effect if it is immune to slashing damage, doesn’t have or need a head, has legendary actions, or the GM decides that the creature is too big for its head to be cut off with this weapon. Such a creature instead takes an extra 27 (6d8) slashing damage from the hit.

Innate spellcasting. The wraithblade can cast dispel magic and misty step at will. The wraithblades spellcasting ability is intelligence (save DC 14 + 6 attack bonus)

Actions

Multiattack. The wraithblade makes two long sword attacks plus one extra for every 100 years of existence maximum of five attacks. For every hundred years beyond that it deals an extra 3 (1d6) cold damage and 3 (1d6) necrotic damage.

Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) slashing damage plus 3 (1d6) cold damage plus 3 (1d6) necrotic damage.

Description

A specially enchanted sword that contains the spirit of a mighty warrior within. These weapons are intelligent and become more powerful every hundred years. The wraithblade gains an extra hit dice every hundered years.
