Shapechanger. Yiela can use her action to polymorph into a hellhound-humanoid hybrid or into a hellhound, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Her statistics, other than her AC, are the same in each form. Any equipment she is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. She reverts to its true form if she dies.
Keen Hearing and Smell. Yiela has an advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.
Pack Tactics. Yiela has an advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the hound's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
Multiattack. (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). Yiela makes two attacks: two with her weapon (humanoid form) or one with her bite and one with her claws (hybrid form).
Bite (Wolf or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) fire damage.
Claws. (Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 3) slashing damage.
Fire Breath (Wolf or Hybrid Form Only) (Recharge 5–6). Yiela exhales fire in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking 21 (6d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Description
Yiela is a fire-breathing fiend that took the form of a powerful dog. Barbros back in his glory days used her both as a loyal guard and a companion. She can appear as a humanoid, as a hellhound, or in a terrifying hybrid form—a furred and well-muscled humanoid body topped by a ravening hellhound’s head.
