Go Kamele, god of all camels.
Camel Spit: As an action a camel can dredge up a foul frothy wad of effluvium from the depths of its ill-begotten gut, spitting it at all creatures in a single 5’ square within 15’. All within that square must make a DC 10 Dexterity save to avoid being splattered with the sticky goo. Affected creatures suffer Disadvantage to their first attack role in the next round as they are overwhelmed with disgust.
feels like camels are super weak compared to reality.
Probably. I think it’s based off their relative price to horses.
In real life, horses are preferred to camels, mainly because they have much better temperament.
Should be neutral evil
why are there camels in dnd and nothing like poison elementals strixes or the stymphalian birds?
It's honestly wild that they didn't give camels a kick attack
Wait yeah , why don't they have that ?
Why isn't their Strength bonus included in their Bite damage? It was included in the attack roll.
I think that a camel is too weak, a wolf nearly killed it and he just whimpered
Whoever wrote and edited the stats for camels have never seen camels fighting wolves or wild dogs.
Also, their bites should do piercing damage since they have 4 sharp canine teeth.
There should also be something in there about resisting exhaustion from extreme heat, cold, and wind.
camels were often used in cavalry rolls in the asia minor and the middle east for a long time although the horse may have some advantages such as short distance speed, temperament, and training the camel is far sturdier far more resilient and has much more stamina than horse for one the camel can carry around 500 pounds with no trouble they can walk for 12 hours without being fatigued they can go without water for 2 weeks and yes there bite force is no joke and should be increased to 1d6+3 they are also far bulkier than horses and i feel should have more health and a higher con and probably some resistance or advantage to exhaustion
This camel is also missing swimming speed. Seriously, camels are really good swimmers, there are videos of them in groups swimming in the middle of the ocean. Think about it, their feet are big and padded, perfect for being paddles for swimming. Don't believe me, look it up for yourself; you'll learn something new today.
yeah camels can and will kill you if they get mad
