Description
The cockatrice looks like a hideous hybrid of lizard, bird, and bat. It is infamous for its ability to turn flesh to stone.
I made a one-shot homebrew: break up a Cockatrice fighting ring.
It is hilarious fun.
Party is enlisted to help take down the people running the ring- and ideally get information about other rings. and free the Cockatrice without being attacked.
Change what you want to make this your own.
I'm planning to use 3-4 of these against my players soon. They're only level 2-3, so it should be fun. Even if everything goes terribly, the worst that can happen is that they're petrified for 24 hours. :)
I can not wait to be a cockatrice as a druid!
These guys are gonna be the main threat in a One-Shot i'm doing. i'm going for something like a raptor from jurassic park.
I want a pet cockatrice.
As do I.
Im a dm and I got one in my campaign which was meant to be a semi boss, they cast talk with animals and got a charisma of 23 it’s there pet now 😂
