Posted Dec 19, 2020hello everyone. i am looking at this stat block because a party member shrunk himself down, went into a magical tree to find out why it was dying, and began to battle with a caterpillar. to help with the fight the dm had us roll a d4 and then play a creature. at first i rolled a 2. meaning i played a giant centipede. I named him carl. carl had 4 hp and died very quickly. but my friend who was playing a swarm of spiders. she named 2 of the spiders isty and bisty. they are married and have 20 children. carl was isty's and bitsy's best man. the new creature i played is a giant bat named bethany. carl was her drinking buddy. this entire ******* tiny battle, theres been jazz music playing. our actual characters are just ****in eating some almonds, chilling. this has been my favorite battle ever.

Posted Mar 15, 2021All of the comments about riding these bats into battle make me chuckle because when I tamed mine in a campaign, that was my direct intention. Thank god for +7 charisma and +4 animal training.
