Multiattack. The scorpion makes three attacks: two with its claws and one with its sting.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 12). The scorpion has two claws, each of which can grapple only one target.
Sting. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 7 (1d10 + 2) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw, taking 22 (4d10) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Thanks for the reply! Can't wait to try it out on my Moon Druid! 😁
What can I say except you're welcome? Glad I could help.
I have a creepy spore Druid with a pet scorpion that he casts the spell Giant insect on and rides into battles… All fear Giant Sebastian!
Some scorpions squirt venom from their stingers. If you want, add this optional action:
Venom Spray. Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 30 ft., one creature. Hit: 8 (1d12 + 2) poison damage.
Less effective than the up close Sting, but it's good to have a ranged backup.
+1. I think it might be trichobothria, as with spiders. Though the spiders have 10 ft of blindsight, regardless of the size, so there is at least a question about why scorpions have such a huge range of blindsight.
