Traits

Ki. Zhung-Feng is a 17th level Monk. He has 17 Ki points, which can be spent on many of the abilities listed in his stat block. His Ki save DC is 18.

Evasion. When Zhung-Feng is subjected to an effect that allows him to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, he instead takes no damage if he succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if he fails.

Swift as the Wind. Zhung-Feng's movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.

Ki Empowered Strikes. Zhung-Feng unarmed strikes count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical attacks.

Legendary Resistance (1/Day). If Zhung-Feng fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Actions

Multiattack. Zhung-Feng makes two melee attacks. Alternatively, Zhung-Feng can make four Shuriken attacks.

Martial Arts. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 11 (1d10 + 6) bludgeoning damage.

Shuriken. Ranged Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, range 40/60 ft., 1 target. Hit: 8 (1d4 + 6) slashing damage.

Razor Wind. Ranged Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, range 30/50 ft., 1 target. Hit:  19 (2d8 + 9) slashing damage. The target must succeed on a DC 18 Strength saving throw, or be pushed back 5 ft. and knocked prone. Razor Wind then returns to Zhung-Feng. 

Fist of Unbroken Air. Zhung-Feng spends 2 Ki points, and creates a blast of compressed air that attacks a  within 30 feet of him. The creature must succeed on a DC 18 Strength saving throw or take 3d10 bludgeoning damage, plus an extra 1d10 bludgeoning damage for each additional Ki point he spends. The creature is pushed up to 20 feet away from Zhung-Feng and is knocked prone. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage, and is not pushed or knocked prone.

Bonus Actions

Flurry of Blows. As a bonus action, Zhung-Feng can spend 1 Ki point to make two Martial Arts attacks.

Step of the Wind. As a bonus action, Zhung-Feng can spend 1 Ki point to Dash.

Patient Defense. As a bonus action, Zhung-Feng can spend 1 Ki point to Dodge.

Shadow Step. While in an area of dim light or darkness, Zhung-Feng can use a bonus action to teleport up to 60 ft. to another area of dim light or darkness.

Reactions

Deflect Missiles. Zhung-Feng can use a reaction to deflect or catch a missile when he is hit by a ranged weapon attack. The damage is reduced by 1d10 + 23

Slow Fall. Zhung-Feng can use his reaction to reduce his fall damage by 85 points.

Legendary Actions

Zhung-Feng can take 2 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Zhung-Feng regains all spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

Attack. Zhung-Feng makes one Martial Arts attack against a creature.

Aggression. Zhung-Feng moves up to half his movement.

Storm of Shuriken (Costs 2 Actions). Zhung-Feng throws out a hail of shuriken. All creatures within a 20 ft. cone must succeed on a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 20 (8d4) slashing damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful one.

 

Description

Zhung-Feng is a disciple of the Dark Moon of Shar, and a follower of the Fist of Steel. Zhung-Feng fights primarily with shuriken, but also wields a chakram named Razor Wind. Zhung-Feng harnesses the power of the wind.
