Posted Nov 4, 2024I think what it means by hostile is something that it was fighting or it wants to fight. If it’s running away or not it’s still hostile as the orc wants to fight it.

Posted Feb 5, 2025At first glance, the Monster Manual 2024 equivalent is Scout and/or Tough. If you want, they can be an Orc Race, and you could even give them the Aggressive trait!

Posted May 31, 2025Haha- my dm threw a camp of these at me in my first game when I was a player- I was a solo ranger- and he threw three at me. one in plate armor (AC of at LEAST 16) I got so scared because of how much damage he did, I not only drank a random potion I had, but I also went up a tree- like a cat. yeah, he ripped it out of the ground and shook it, downing me.
