Traits
Swarm. The swarm can occupy another creature's space and vice versa, and the swarm can move through any opening large enough for a Tiny snake. The swarm can't regain hit points or gain temporary hit points.
Actions
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 0 ft., one creature in the swarm's space. Hit: 7 (2d6) piercing damage, or 3 (1d6) piercing damage if the swarm has half of its hit points or fewer. The target must make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw, taking 14 (4d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
why does it always have to be snakes?!
Ssso very nice to meet you, Ma'am and Ssssir.
Don't want to be that person, but I believe you mean ''venomous'' snakes...
I mean, I would not eat the snake either
Yeah probably also not a good idea.
poisonous snake
Thank you. I was triggered.
i'm a slithery ssssnek
So does a swarm of snakes gets 1 attack per round and only attacks one player? Or does the swarm attack the whole party. So if there is a party of 5 PCs does the swarm effectively get 5 attacks? One for each player per round?
Couple months late to answer you, but the snake swarm uses its action to make one attack against one target. It has a reach of 0 ft, so the snake swarm must be in the target's space in order to attack. So it only makes one attack per round (although it can and should use its reaction to make an opportunity attack against someone leaving its space without disengaging first)
It's a beast... I wonder.. just wonder.. if I can wildshape into a swarm..
Not just a snek, it’s a tiny snek.
