Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) slashing damage.

Purr of Restoration. Three times a day the wyveline can use its action to make contact with a creature while emitting low, soothing vibrations, to heal the creature for (2d4+2). Until the start of the creatures next turn, it has advantage on saves against being frightened.

Bonus Actions

Luminous Lure. As a bonus action the wyveline can illuminate the ends of their long whiskers, shedding light in a 10 ft radius. When a creature touches the whiskers, the wyveline can use its reaction to send a shock through them for (2d4+2) lightning damage. The affected creature must succeed a DC13 Dexterity save or be stunned until the beginning of their next turn.

Description

The wyveline is an evasive, adaptive creature that resides in celestial and material planes. They are a surprisingly pleasant combination of a wyvern and a common house cat, whereas their only wyvern traits are their claw tipped wings. Their bodies are covered in soft fur that can resemble any known cat color/pattern, their eyes are a bright gold, and long whiskers adorn their face.

Ambush Predators of the Sky and Land.
Wyvelines are known to hunt in two ways: striking from great heights or luring in their prey. When hunting from the ground, these predators conceal themselves in tall grass or brush while twitching their illuminated whiskers. Tiny creatures are drawn to the fluttering lights, and if the creature is unlucky enough to touch the whiskers they are met with a painful shock that can leave them stunned.

Drawn to the Divine.
When on the material plane wyvelines are drawn to concentrations of divinity, often settling in temples, churches, and other holy sites, so their presence on the material plane is welcomed as a sign of good luck and prosperity.

Picky Individuals.
Like their feline relatives wyveline’s are individualistic with unique characteristics, but commonly the are regarded as good judges of character and gluttons for attention. They tend to only share spaces with those who treat them well, and steer clear of those who have ill will towards others. They will often vocalize their opinions, greeting those who are agreeable with meows and chirps but hissing at those they dislike.

Clingy Companions.
If an individual possesses divinity the wyveline may choose to accompany them. Most often they find themselves alongside priests, healers, monks, and paladins that become enamored with the cute creature. While wyvelines can be greedy for affection, they are known to reciprocate that given to them (when they feel like it), and the bonds they create are similar to those of  pseudodragons, where they stay with their companion as long as they are treated well.
