Description

The tribal warriors of the Wyrdspeakers are towering green goblinoids with vicious bone and flint weapons and bright red war paint. They're superstitious to a fault, believing that their weapons claim the souls of what they kill in battle. They also believe that their war paint grants them supernatural speed and judging by their general effectiveness in combat, it might just be true.

Wyrdspeaker culture is led by shamans who claim to be able to interpret the will of the wyrd, an invisible source of druidic power that supposedly predicts the fate of all living things. Before they were called the Wyrdspeakers, they were a tribe on the verge of extinction, beset on all sides by larger rival tribes. When all hope appeared lost, a young shaman was hit in the head by a pair of stone bolas and awoke with a uncanny ability to predict the short term future. Armed with this foresight, the tribal warriors sallied out and defeated their enemies warriors before the alliance could muster their forces properly.

Since then, The wyrdspeakers have become one of the most cunning and adaptable tribes in the Green Mire Jungles. Their warriors place so much trust in their shamans that they have absolute confidence in the face of impossible odds. They're armed with a motley of bone shivs, improvised axes and flint clubs. A warriors weapons have deep cultural importance for the deeds done with them dictate their power for generations to come.
