Self Experimentation. Wynnet automatically succeeds on any saving throw caused by a potion, poison or other consumable.
Alchemic Goods. Wynnet carries a large supply of potions and poisons both for himself and as throwing weapon, any bottled spells saving throws are treated as DC 14 Constitution saves.
Wynnet has the following concoctions prepared:
Contact: Crawler Mucus 2, Alchemists Fire 3, Oil of Taggit 1, Acid vial 2, Bottled Blindness 1 Oil Flask 2.
Inhaled: Dust of the Mummy 1, Malice 2, Essence of Ether 1, Burnt Othur Fumes 1, Bottled Cloudkill 1, Bottled Stinking Cloud 1.
Potions: Potion of Gaseous Form 1, Potion of invulnerability 1, Potion of healing 3, Potion of Heroism 1, Potion of Dispel Magic 2.
If another creature uses any of Wynnets potions after his death must make a DC 16 Constitution save or become poisoned for 8 hours in addition to its other effects.
Bottle Swig. Wynnet consumes one of his potions/poisons.
Contaminated Needle. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piecing damage and roll a d4
- Target takes an additional 4 (2d4) poison damage.
- Target takes an additional 6 (2d6) acid damage.
- Target takes an additional 12 (3d8) necrotic damage
- Target takes an additional 6 (3d4) poison damage and must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save the target becomes diseased. While diseased in this way the target cannot regain hit points. This disease can only be cured through alchemical means e.g. Elixir of Health.
Bottle Toss. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 20/40 ft., one target. Wynnet throws one of his potion/poison bottles which shatters on impact.
Contact Poisons
- On a hit with a contact poison the target is affected and any other unsheltered characters within 5ft must make a DC 14 Dexterity save or also be effected by the poison.
- If the attack misses by 5 or less then the target only has to make a DC 13 Dexterity or be effected by the poison.
- If the target has a shield they can use their reaction to get advantage on the save.
Inhalation Poisons
- On a hit the target and everyone in 5 ft circled centred on them is affected by the poison.
- On a miss by 5 or less the target is at the edge of a 5ft sphere of poison decided randomly or by the DM any other creatures in this area are affected.
- the cloud of inhalation poison lingers for 3 rounds, wind effects will disperse them early.
- If a creature starts its turn in a cloud it must immediately repeat any saves caused by the poison. Creatures can avoid this by using their reaction to hold their breath until the end of their next turn. Holding their breath in this way prevents the use of any spell with a verbal component.
Panic Potions. Whenever Wynnet is brought below 20hp he can use his reaction to drink either a Potion of Healing or Potion of Gaseous Form.
Description
The master Alchemist Wynnet is a tall skeletally thin man, in a long filthy dark green coat over haggard simple clothes. Their thin gaunt face like the phantom of a long distended skull under sickly alchemical light from the faintly glowing bottles strapped around his belt and arm brace.
