Description
Wyrhorns are bronze skinned bulls with a pair of impressive curved horns. Their breath smells of burning metal and their hoofprints leave a faint scorched outline. Wyrhorns are native to arid places rich in ores and crystalline growths that form the bulk of their diet. The exact colour of their skin depends on the types of ore they eat.
Wyrhorns with a predominantly crystalline diet have an almost translucent purple sheen to them while those that eat a heavy diet of rocks and ores are dull and silvery. Being headstrong and powerful, they are immensely difficult to tame but they have a few traits that make them more powerful mounts than an average war horse. The skin of a wyrhorn is naturally resistant to magic to the point where the very presence of one can cause spells to go haywire or cause magical backlash.
