Traits

Death shock. When the zephyrisque dies, it explodes in a burst of static motes. Each creature within 5 feet of it must then succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be stunned for 1 minute. A stunned creature can repeat the saving throw on each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Innate Spellcasting.(1/Day). The zephyrisque  can innately cast Animate Object, requiring no material components. Its innate spellcasting ability is Charisma.

Actions

Static burst (Recharge 6). The zephyrisque exhales a 10- foot cone of static dust motes. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw or be blinded for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Description

Zephyrisque are tiny elemental creatures that frequently inhabit workshops, factories and places of mechanical construction. They feed off static buildup on actively used machines.

they are almost invisible to most creatures looking no more than a tiny series of electrical arcs. But larger groups of zephyrisques tend to cluster and attract particles. Eventually looking like small black, or rust colored sea urchins.

artificers consider zephyrisques to be a bit of good luck if discovered as they tend to siphon off the nastier shocks one can get from working with charged equipment.  If persuasive enough, an artificer might convince a zephyrisque to inhabit one of their creations, animating tiny constructs, or power infused devices, negating the normal component requirements.

a zephyrisque would consider a charged object a steady supply of food and would be amenable should such a situation arise.
