Swarm. The swarm can occupy another creature’s space and vice versa, and the swarm can move through any opening large enough for a medium creature. The swarm can’t regain hit points or gain temporary hit points.
Deathly Stench. Any creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of the zombie horde must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or suffer from the poisoned until the end of the creature’s next turn.
Undead Mass. When the mass takes damage that reduce it to less than half its hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 15, unless the damage is radiant, fire, or from a critical hit. On a success, the horde stays above half HP instead.
Unusual Nature. The horde doesn’t require air, food, drink, or sleep.
Multiattack. The horde makes an Undead Mass attack against any enemy creature that shares a space with the swarm
Undead Mass. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 0 ft., one target in the swarm’s space. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage, or 6 (1d4 + 4) bludgeoning damage if the swarm has half of its hit points or fewer.
Description
Among the undead, a lone zombie ranks far from the most menacing. The horror of the shambling dead lies not in their individual menace, though, but their numbers, their persistence, and their disregard for their own well-being.
A throng of zombies will douse a forest fire with their own ashes or march into a dragon’s maw until the monster chokes.

Hiya - I'm putting together a one-shot zombie siege, and I really like this monster. I have a question regarding it's "Undead Mass" trait: does it only allow the save once the swarm reaches half hp, and then end? Comparing it to Undead Fortitude, I understand why you wouldn't make it per hit, but it seems strange to only give the zombies one chance to "resist" the damage.
Also, any clarification on why the name "Undead Mass" is used both as a trait and an attack? Or is that just a typo?
Last thing: I'm going to be running them with an ability that spawns a handful of zombies upon their death, since it seems strange to go from a horde of Undead to a pile of corpses. Just thought I'd mention it if you decide to update this monster!
