Tough Skin. The Wrath-Vine's leathery, and wooden exterior make it resistant to most basic attacks.
Multi-attack. The Wrath-Vine makes three attacks, two with its Vine Whip, and one with its Spore Bomb
Vine Whip. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 20 ft., 1 target. Hit: 18 (2d8 + 6) [Slashing] damage. The targeted creature must succeed a STR 18 or become grappled. Every grappled creature takes an additional 2d8 at the start of its turn.
Spore Bomb. Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, range 30/50 ft., 1 target. Hit: 26 (2d10 + 8) [Poison] damage. The targeted creature must succeed a CON 18 saving throw or become poisoned. Every poisoned creature will take 1d6 poison damage on the start of its turn.
Noxious Fatigue. If a creature is poisoned, the Wrath-Vine can use a bonus action to induce a point of exhaustion on the poisoned creature if it fails a CON 18 saving throw. Once exhausted, the poison effect is removed.
Lingering Grasp. If a creature is grappled for more than one turn then the Wrath-Vine can use this bonus action to add an extra d8 to the damage the creature takes at the start of their turn.
Description
Appearing like a lightning struck, rotting tree with large mushrooms growing at the top, the Wrath-Vine has unnaturally great camouflage. Making it nearly impossible to spot before it spots you. Its mixture of leathery vines and tree bark skin add an unusual "popping" and "snake" like movement to its limbs and roots.
