Spider Climb. The chupacabra can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) necrotic damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. The target's hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken, and the chupacabra regains hit points equal to that amount. The reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0.
Description
If you wake one morning to find your livestock drained of all their blood, some may tell you that it is the work of a chupacabra, a fell beast with sunken eyes and long fangs. This is usually just vampire bats, but on occasion, it is actually true. Chupacabra are long-limbed canid-looking creatures, with spines ridging their backs from their necks to their long tails. Chupacabra are usually alone, the miserable creatures that they are, but sometimes they form terrifying small packs of four to five blood-sucking horrors. Ordinary weapons have little effect against chupacabra, but they have a weakness: chupacabra have no hair and are weak in the cold.
