Description
The ananas drake is a tropical species of drake that lives deep in tropical forests. They have a brown yellowish spotted skin with green spiky manes and dark brown spikes all over their bodies.
They feed on bones but are prey to herbivores larger than them. Their skin is covered in spikes which are dosed in their blood, which is a highly toxic substance, and are therefore very difficult to approach. They also use their blood as projectiles to kill and defend.
The infant ananas drakes start out green for camouflage, seeing as they don't yet have enough blood to cover their own spikes but over time grow more and more brown until they are fully grown. No matter how old, these animals should be avoided at all costs because of their excellent sense of smell and hearing, their inteligence is also nothing to be messed with but because of this high level of intelegence there is a theory that they can be domesticated. Sadly all attempts to get an egg has ended with multiple casualties and no eggs.
