Special Equipment. Wynnifred carries a magical +3 katana (uses the statistics of a longsword, +3 with the finesse feature added).
Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Wynnifred fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.
Rapid Strikes. If Wynnifred takes the Attack action on her turn and has advantage on an attack roll against one of his targets, he can forgo the advantage for that roll to make an additional weapon attack against that target, as part of the same action. Wynnifred can do so no more than once per turn.
Mirror Impact. When Wynnifred hit a creature with a weapon attack, he can spend his bonus action to deal an additional 12 damage. Until the start of his next turn, Wynnifred gains resistance to damage from spells and he gains advantage versus all spell saving throws. Wynnifred can not use this ability again until he completes a long rest.
Multiattack. Wynnifred makes four attacks with his katana.
Katana. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (1d8 + 9) slashing damage, or 15 (1d10 + 9) slashing damage if used with two hands.
Rapid Slash (Recharge 5-6). Wynnifred becomes a blur and dashes up to 40 feet in one direction. Each creature of Wynnifred chooses in a 15 feet wide line, centered on him, between his starting point and end point must make a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 40 (10d6) magical slashing damage. Those creatures take half as much damage on a successful save.
Ultimate Technique: Kendo Style: Full Slash (Recharge 6). Wynnifed raises his sword above his head with both hands, focusing his energy into his sword, and swing down with all his might. Wynnifred swings down, letting out a shockwave that causes all enemies in front of him in a 5 feet wide and 240 feet long line to make a DC 20 Dexterity save. Those creatures take 72 (18d6) force damage, or half as much damage on a successful save. A creature that rolls a 1 on the d20 for this save takes triple the amount of damage. This ability cannot be used if Wynnifred is unarmed.
Fighting Spirit (3/Long Rest). As a bonus action on Wynnifred's turn, he can give himself advantage on weapon attack rolls until the end of the current turn. When he does so, he also gains 15 temporary hit points.
Parry. Wynnifred adds 6 to her AC against one melee attack that would hit him. To do so, Wynnifred must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.
Wynnifred can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Wynnifred regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Command Ally. Wynnifred targets one ally she can see within 30 feet of her. If the target can see and hear Wynnifred, the target can make one weapon attack as a reaction and gains advantage on the attack roll.
Swift Stride. Wynnifred moves up to his speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Lunging Attack (Costs 2 Actions). Wynnifred makes one katana attack that has a reach of 10 feet.
Description
Wynnifred came from humble beginnings, usually having to resort to stealing food to survive as a kid. He obtained his first sword after stumbling across the aftermath of a bloody battlefield. He had trained with a sword ever since. He eventually made a name for himself as a roaming swordsman. He trained under many different masters and learned many different fighting techniques.
Wynnifred met Marina later in his travels, choosing to be her follower after being impressed with her bladework. The two eventually became very close and had a child together. Wynnifred now serves as Marina's military affairs advisor.
Wynnifred is kind and caring, but does not tolerate rudeness and actions he believes to be unjust. He is also very protective of his family, sometimes overprotective. This quirk can lead him to make decisions that some might consider cold.
His time spent traveling has made him quite the chef; which is good, because Marina is terrible in the kitchen.
