Traits

Ambusher. The hunter has advantage on attack rolls against any creature it has surprised.

Camouflage. The hunter has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide.

Campaign of Terror. Whenever the hunter reduces a creature to 0 HP while the hunter has advantage, it gains 1 Trophy. The hunter gains an ongoing +1 bonus to damage against the creature it took the trophy from and its allies for each Trophy it has. This lasts between encounters.

Hunter's Mask. The hunter has advantage on all ranged attacks.

Mimicry. The hunter can mimic sounds it has heard, including voices. A creature that hears the sounds can tell they are imitations with a successful DC 14 Wisdom (Insight) check.

Sacrifice Play. When the hunter is reduced to 0HP, it can take a Legendary Action before dying.

Actions

Multiattack. The hunter makes 3 wrist blade attacks.

Plasma Cannon. Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one target. Hit: 31 (6d8 + 4) lightning damage. (Recharge on 5-6)

Wrist Blades. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (3d6 + 3) slashing damage.

Reactions

Reposition. The hunter takes the Disengage action and moves up to half its speed.

Legendary Actions

The hunter can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The monster regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Healing Kit. The hunter regains 14 (4d6) hit points. This action may not be used for Sacrifice Play. (Recharge on 5-6)

Self Destruct Sequence. The hunter triggers a countdown. In 4 combat rounds, the hunter explodes. All creatures in a 60ft radius must make a DC 18 saving throw, taking 91 (14d12) force damage on a failure or half as much on a success.

Wrist Blades. The hunter makes a wrist blades attack.
