Traits
Swarm. The swarm can occupy another creature's space and vice versa, and the swarm can move through any opening large enough for a Tiny insect. The swarm can't regain hit points or gain temporary hit points.
Actions
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 0 ft., one target in the swarm's space. Hit: 10 (4d4) piercing damage, or 5 (2d4) piercing damage if the swarm has half of its hit points or fewer.
That feel when my level 1 party nearly gets TPK'd by these damn things
ALTERNATIVE USE:
Swarm of BEES - change "Bite" action to "STING". Stingers cause poison damage, beginning of each turn : 2d4 at 12 - 22 HP -or- 1d4 at 1 - 11 HP.
These shouldn't have resistance to bludgeoning IMO.
I was worried putting them in the first encounter against my PCs at level 1, but they rolled so good they dropped them fast, and I was in disbelief. This game can be so funny.
Great suggestion! I'll keep this in mind.
