Traits

Spider Climb. The spider can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Web Sense. While in contact with a web, the spider knows the exact location of any other creature in contact with the same web.

Umbral Camouflage. While in darkness, Zobel is invisible to any creature that relies on darkvision to see in that darkness. While in direct light or dim light a creature must make a DC15 Investigation (intelligence) or Perception (wisdom) check to discern where Zobel is, while not moving.

Web Walker. The spider ignores movement restrictions caused by webbing.

Oily Quick Step. The spider immune to attacks of opportunity while moving through her own webbing and attacks of opportunity made other wise are made with disadvantage.

Vampirous Webs. Creatures that begin there turn in the webbing take 1d10 necrotic damage and Zobel, The Puppeteering Spider Queen, gains that much health.

Haunting Echo. Zobel, The Puppeteering Spider Queen, can accurately mimic sounds she has heard, including voices. She can project these sounds up to 120 ft away and a creature that hears the sounds she make can tell they are imitations only with a successful Wisdom (Insight) check against a DC15.

Actions

Multiattack. Zobel, The Puppeteering Spider Queen makes three attcks: two Bite attacks, and one Acid Spray attack. Any of the attacks can be replaced by an Oiled Web Hypnotic Gaze attack, if available.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 17 (3d8 + 3) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 9 (2d8) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is Dazed (See details below) while poisoned in this way.

Acid Spray. Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach range 60/120 ft., one creature. Hit: 14 (3d8) acid damage

Hypnotic Gaze (Recharge 3–4). Zobel, The Puppeteering Spider Queen, creates a twisting pattern of colors from its eight eyes shifting along its body. The pattern weaves through the air inside a 30-foot Sphere, appearing for a moment and then vanishes. Each creature in the area who sees the pattern must make a DC15 Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, the creature becomes Dazed Until the Spiders next turn. While Dazed by this attack, attacks against the creature have advantage and the creatures movement is reduced by half.

Oiled Web (Recharge 5–6). Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 60/120 ft., three creatures. Hit: The target is restrained by webbing. As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 15 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 12; hp 20; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage).
If the webbing is set on fire, Each creature with in 5ft must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 22 (4d10) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures caught with in the webbing automatically fail the saving throw.

While Dazed, you experience the following effect:
Limited Activity. You can Move or take one Action on your turn, not both. You also can’t take a Bonus Action or a Reaction.

Bonus Actions

Spider Puppet. The spider uses its oil coated webbing to manipulate armor, corpses or skeletons to create a puppet to lure or attack it's prey. The puppet takes its turn along side the spider making one charge attack per turn.

The puppet AC 12; hp 1; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to all non bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage except for fire.

Charge Attack. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage

If the puppet is destroyed the webbing dissipates into a haze each creature must make a DC12 Intelligence saving throw or become Dazed.
If the puppet is set on fire, Each creature with in 5ft must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 22 (4d10) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Description

What once was a simple giant spider has become,  something far more vile under the corruption of the phrexian oil. Now exposed to the substance Zobel, has evolved into an intelligent singularly focused huntress. She is coated in the oily arcane substance that allows her to blend seamlessly into her background. Her long arachnid body has a humanoid growth that extends about four feet up with four arms, and eyes that rest at their joints. Where the head of her human like body should be, is a series of tentacles, mandibles and teeth that ooze oil and haze. She lairs herself in caverns, caves, dense jungles and forest, and spins invisible networks of webs to sense her prey. She uses past victims corpses', voices, or gear to lure additional prey into range of her gaze. The eyes along her elbows join, four additional retractable eyes with in her mouth to daze her victims. Once caught, she is methodically slow in devouring their organs by liquifying them with her acid before; using dried tree brush and other such material to prevent the body from decaying quickly, to use their body to begin a new hunt. Few have even seen her and lived to tell the tale of Zobel, The Puppeteering Spider Queen.
