Description
A hippogriff is a magical creature possessing the wings and forelimbs of an eagle, the hindquarters of a horse, and a head that combines the features of both animals.
A yearling hippogriff is smaller than its adult form, and not as physically strong, but is often more agile due to its smaller form. They cannot yet fly, however, as they have yet to shed their down feathers for flight feathers.
Falcon type hippogriffs take after their bird relatives, being generally smaller and more intelligent, while trading strength for agility.
