Legendary Resistance (1/Day). If Wulfgar fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.
Reckless. At the start of his turn, Wulfgar can gain advantage on all melee weapon attack rolls during that turn, but attack rolls against him have advantage until the start of his next turn.
Special Equipment. Wulfgar wields the dwarven thrower, aegis-fang. Wulfgar ignores the attunement requirements for aegis-fang.
Multiattack. Wulfgar makes three Aegis-Fang attacks.
Aegis-Fang. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (1d8 + 8) bludgeoning damage, or 13 (1d10 + 8) bludgeoning damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack.
Aegis-Fang (Ranged). Ranged Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d8 + 8) bludgeoning damage plus 4 (1d8) bludgeoning damage if the target is a giant.
Rage (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). Wulfgar enters a rage. The rage lasts for 1 minute or until Wulfgar is incapacitated. While raging, Wulfgar gains the following benefits:
- Wulfgar has advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.
- When he makes a melee weapon attack, Wulfgar gains a +5 bonus to the damage roll.
- Wulfgar has resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
Parry. Wulfgar adds 5 to his AC against one melee attack roll that would hit him. To do so, Wulfgar must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.
Wulfgar can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Wulfgar regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.
Command Ally. Wulfgar targets one ally he can see within 30 feet of him. If the target can see or hear Wulfgar, the target can make one weapon attack as a reaction and gains advantage on the attack roll.
Weapon Attack. Wulfgar makes one Aegis-Fang attack.
Frighten Foe (Costs 2 Actions). Wulfgar targets one creature he can see within 30 feet of him. If the target can see or hear him, the target must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of Wulfgar until the end of Wulfgar’s next turn.
Description
Wulfgar, son of Beornegar, is the barbarian hero of Icewind Dale, and one of the Companions of the Hall along with Drizzt Do'Urden and his companion, Guenhwyvar, Cattie-brie, Regis, and Bruenor Battlehammer. He worships Tempus, the god of battle. Wulfgar has been reborn, along with the rest of the deceased Companions, through the power of the goddess Mielikki, and he's traveling again with his friends as of 1484 DR.
In his second life, Wulfgar is resolving himself to live in the moment and enjoy life for what it can be. He doubts that he and his companions' return was due to Mielikki, believing instead that it may have been the work of a wizard.
