Description
Yamamura Yoshikage is the eldest child and only son of Yamamura Iroh, the Lord of Ashina. He is a very soft spoken, polite and dutiful heir to the titleand has spent many a day trying to prove to the citizens of his kanton that he is more than worthy of once becoming their sovereign. To him, the people of his kanton and their well-being comes first, and there is nothing he wouldn't do to keep them safe.
The Kohai. This long, heavy Katana has a black blade that shimmers slightly with a red tint. It's handle is made out of darkened red wood and wrapped in ash-white cloth.
It feels uncomfortably warm to the touch, seemingly getting hotter everytime one gets used to its heat.
This Katana has long since been in the posession of the Yamaura Clan, and it is said to have tremendous power. Some scholars even say that it could be one of the three legendary Katana that were wielded by Yoshida Akihiro, the greatest warrior and general Midoriku has ever known.
Blinded by Ambition. The wielder of the Kohai must suffer a terrible fate. As the blade has been cursed by the Elves it was used to slaughter, it takes away a part of the wielder's soul. It also seems to darken its master's thoughts, driving them to be more aggressive and ambitious.
As its current master, Yoshikage has been corrupted by the sword. His part in the war is bigger than many might even dream of, and his plans are more nefarious than even his closest friends would ever be able to expect of him.
The Blade hungers. The Kohai is said to feed on the falmes of destruction and the ashes those flames leave behind. As such, in times of war, it seems increasingly potent. The more powerful it gets, the more influence it gains over it wielder.
