As an action, after placing the Model Ship in water and speaking its command word, the model ship will transform into a full-sized seafaring vessel suitable for up to 12 crew. It will remain full size until its command word is spoken again.
Full-sized Ship: Essanger II
This beautifully crafted wooden full-sized seafaring vessel has the following features.

Any objects left in the ship when the command word is spoken and it returns to its tiny model size will be stored in an extradimensional space. The items will remain there until the ship is returned to full size, where they will appear in the spaces they previously occupied. If the model ship is destroyed, every object stored in the extradimensional space is scattered in the Astral Plane.
Any creatures left in the ship when the command word is spoken and it returns to its tiny model size will harmlessly appears in the unoccupied spaces closest to the ship’s former space.

This beautifully crafted wooden model ship is a tiny object that weighs 1 pound and floats.
Full-sized Ship: Essanger II
Gargantuan Vehicle (50 ft. by 20 ft.)
Sailing ships are fast-moving designs focused on travel.
Ceilings. The ceilings in the lower deck, holds, and cabins are 7 feet high with 5-foot-high doorways.
Doors. The ship's doors are made of wood and have AC 15, 18 hit points, and immunity to poison and psychic damage. A lock can be picked with a successful DC 15 Dexterity check made using thieves' tools, or the door can be forced open with a successful DC 20 Strength check.
Figurehead. An iron figurehead at the front of their main deck, shaped to look the waves of a fearsome sea the symbol of Umberlee. This figurehead serves as the ship's naval ram.
Footlockers. Footlockers on the ship are iron and have AC 19, 18 hit points, and immunity to poison and psychic damage.
Light. Hanging lanterns cast bright light throughout the ship.
Rigging. Rigging on the ship can be climbed without an ability check.
Sails. The ship has two 80-foot-tall masts with sails to catch the wind and oars on the lower deck for rowing.
Quarterdeck
1. The quarterdeck of the Essanger II has the following features:
Helm. The ship's helm stands at the aft of the quarterdeck.
Mast. The mast contains the sails and riggings.
Railing. The main deck has a 3-foot-high rail around its perimeter.
Main Deck
2. The main deck of the Essanger II has the following features:
Ballista. One a ballista attached to the deck. Ten ballista arrows are stacked and secured near it.
Doors. The main desk has two doors one leads to the Armory the other to the captain’s quarters.
Figurehead. An iron figurehead at the front of their main deck.
Hatch. A covered, 10-foot-square opening leads to the lower deck for loading cargo.
Mast. The mast contains the sails and riggings.
3. Armory. The ship's supply of weapons and armor is held in this cabin. Its walls are fitted with built-in weapon and armor racks. Shelves and rope on the walls of this cabin secure cannon balls and ballista arrows and the supplies needed to maintain the siege weapons. The door to this cabin is usually locked, the key kept by one of the ship's officers.
4. Captain's Quarters. The captain's quarter hold a bed and a desk. Beneath the bed is an Iron footlocker that holds the captain's belongings. The captain's quarters have a private privy and wash area.
Lower Deck
The lower deck of the Essanger II has the following features:
Doors. The lower deck has five doors one leads to the Crew cabin, two lead to the Officer’s Quarters, one leads to the Privy and one leads to the Guest Cabin.
Hatch. A covered, 10-foot-square opening leads to the hold deck for loading cargo.
5. Crew cabin. 2 beds and 4 bunkbeds are located in the crew cabin. Next to each bed is an iron footlocker that holds the crews' belongings.
6. Officer’s Quarters. There are two private cabins used for the officers to sleep in. Beneath each bed is an iron footlocker that holds the officer’s belongings.
7. Privy. Benches line the walls of this room. Four holes carved in them house chamber pots.
8. Guest Cabin and Brig. This cabin is meant for visiting guests coming along for the journey. Since there is often a greater need to house prisoners rather than guests, the bed also has a section to attach set of manacles to its frame.
Hold Deck
The hold deck of the Essanger II has the following features:
9. Ready Room. This large cabin is used as the ships ready room and main common area. There is a small galley used to feed the crew. There is also a storage cabinet that contains hooks and shelves on the walls hold medical instruments, bandages, balms, tonics, jars of leeches, and more, ready to treat injuries from combat or sailing mishaps.
10. Oar Deck. Ten benches are built into the deck of the hold deck, each with a 10-foot-long oar. When the ship is rowed, crew members sit on these benches to work the oars. Five spare oars hang on the walls of the ship.
11. Cargo Hold. This area can house both passengers and cargo. The passengers sleep on bedrolls among the crates and barrels of food, water, and other supplies. This area holds tools, barrels of tar, rope, extra material to repair sails, and other supplies needed to maintain the ship.
