Defying Death. When the beast is reduced to 0 hit points, it regains 10 hit points, but permanently loses 10 ft. of its base walking speed. If the beast's base walking speed is reduced to or below zero 0 feet by this trait, it dies.
Aerial, Aquatic, and Landbound. This creature falls under one of three categories, as appropriate to the living creature. These three categories are Aerial, Aquatic, and Landbound, each with unique features.
Undead Nature. The beast doesn't need to eat, drink, sleep, or breathe.
Charge (Landbound only). If the beast moves 20 feet or more on their turn before making a maul attack, they creature being targeted by the maul attack must make a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Flyby (Aerial only). The beast does not provoke opportunity attacks while flying.
Multiattack. The beast makes three maul attacks.
Maul. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, one target. Hit: 1d10 + 3 bludgeoning, slashing, or piercing damage (as appropriate), plus 1d4 poison damage.
Description
A rotting mass of flesh and bone, this creature is the undead remains of a somewhat large animal. Imbued with undead strength and resilience, most undead beasts become greater than a beastmaster's trained creatures - for a time.
