Putrid Pustules. The first time the zombie cultist takes damage, any living creature within 5 feet of the zombie must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or become poisoned for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on it early with a successful save.
Undead Fortitude. If damage reduces the zombie cultist to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant or from a critical hit. On a success, the zombie drops to 1 hit point instead.
Unnatural Diet. Whenever a zombie cultist consumes a humanoid brain, it regains all its hit points.
Multiattack. The zombie cultist makes two slam attacks.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage.
Description
As punishment for their failure, cultists of Cenric who died before the apocalypse are raised by their demon lord as zombies. These souls forever hunger for humanoid brains to sustain their rotting bodies.
Abyssal Torment. Cenric is not one to forgive and forget. Whenever a zombie cultist is destroyed in his abyssal realm, he restores the miserable creature to unlife after 4 days.
