Undying: The Undying cannot die. Instead, when they have zero hp, they fall unconscious for a number of hours equal to their intelligence score. During this time they cannot be woken by any means except wish or divine intervention, after which they regain consciousness at full hp. Any limbs or body parts that have been removed will stitch themselves back together if they are in contact with the main mass during their unconscious state. Otherwise they must spend a number of days equal to 10- constitution modifier learning to use their projected spirit ability.
Projected Spirit: due to their undying nature they learn to project their spirit outside of their physical form in order to replace any lost limbs. This spirit limb is only half real and slightly maliable. As such they can choose from the following abilities twice per encounter:
- Maliable attack: gain +2 to attack when taking the attack action on their turn.
- Maliable defence: gain +2 to defence till the end of their turn as a reaction.
Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) slashing damage.
Light Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 80 ft./320 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d8 + 1) piercing damage.
Description
The Undying are usually forcefully created but after the initial shock of having their death stolen from them most begin to worship their creator as if they were a god.
