False Appearance. While the Undarasink remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from normal, foliage covered ground. A successful DC 18 Intelligence(Investigation) check is required to discern that the Undarasink is disguised. Creatures that have encountered an Undarasink within the past 24 hours have advantage on this check.

Sinkhole. As a reaction to a creature walking on its surface, the Undarasink can open up. All creatures on the surface above it must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a success, a creature dives into the nearest unoccupied space within 5ft of the Undarasink. On a failure, a creature falls 15ft into the Undarasink's innards. For a creature that succeeded, if there is no unoccupied space within 5ft of it, its saving throw automatically fails.

Slippery Digestion. Any creature that starts its turn in the innards of the Undarasink must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 18(4d8) acid damage and falling Prone on a failed save, and half as much damage and suffer no ill effects on a successful one. A creature that falls Prone in the Undarasink loses any climbing speed speed it has and has disadvantage on any checks made to climb until it spends 10 minutes cleaning itself. Climbing out of an Undarasink requires a successful DC 15 Strength(Athletics) check. A creature that fails this check is treated as if it failed the saving throw of this ability.

Actions

Multiattack: The Undarasink makes three Vine Whip attacks.

Vine Whip: Melee weapon attack, +7 to hit, reach 20ft, one target. Hit 14(3d6+4) slashing damage and the target is grappled(escape DC 15). Until this grapple ends, the target is Restrained, and the Undarasink can't grapple another target with the same vine. The Undarasink has three vines, each of which can grapple a target.

Stun Gas(Recharge 5-6): The Undarasink erupts in a cloud of red spores. Each creature within 5ft of the Undarasink must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes 33(6d10) poison damage and is Poisoned for 1 minute. On a success, a creature takes half as much damage and suffers no ill effects. If a creature's saving throw fails by 5 or more, it is Stunned while Poisoned in this way. An affected creature can repeat this saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Swallow: The Undarasink closes its surface opening and floods its interior with acid. While closed, the Undarasink gains a +3 bonus to AC. All creatures inside the Undarasink are Blinded, Restrained, and unable to breathe, and the damage from Slippery Digestion increases to 36(8d8). The Undarasink can contain up to 16 tiny creatures, 4 medium or small creatures, or one large creature. If the Undarasink dies, a swallowed creature is no longer Restrained and can escape from the corpse using 15ft of movement, exiting Prone.

Bonus Actions

Reel: The Undarasink pulls each creature grappled by it up to 10ft straight towards it.

Description

A patient hunter native to the Undara Gorge, the Undarasink lures prey with the promise of juicy fruit, before opening up a giant sinkhole to swallow it whole. It is said that the more ingenious residents of the deep caverns of Rhymorra, such as Shadowtouched Rezakiri, have trapped Undarasinks in underground metal cages and use their acidic secretions for tanning leather and other industrial purposes.

Detection. The fruit mimics the real flora of the Undara Gorge and is often disguised to look like the product of a nearby plant. This makes the identification of an Undarasink from the above-ground components nigh on impossible. However, the gas it uses to stun more rigorous prey leaves behind a fine red powder. If you're close enough to see this scarlet dust, it's probably already too late.
