- Magic Resistance: Zal'gath has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
- Spellcasting: Zal'gath can cast spells from his spell list as a 9th-level spellcaster.
- Paralyzing Touch: Zal'gath's touch can paralyze a creature. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
- Undead Fortitude: If Zal'gath takes damage that would reduce him to 0 hit points, he can make a Constitution saving throw (DC equal to the damage taken). On a success, he drops to 1 hit point instead.
Legendary Actions: Zal'gath can take up to 3 legendary actions at the end of each player's turn, choosing from the following options:
- Cast a spell from his spell list.
- Move up to half his movement speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
- Make a melee attack with his staff.
Description
