Soul Leech. The undead raven drains the life force of a living creature it is perched upon. The target must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or take 7 (2d6) necrotic damage and the raven gains temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt. On a successful saving throw, the target takes half damage, and the raven doesn't gain any temporary hit points.
Evasion: If the undead raven is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, it instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails.
Deathly Peck: Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage.
Screech: The undead raven emits a piercing screech. Each creature within 30 feet of the raven must make a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the end of their next turn. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Description
Undead ravens are relentless in their attacks, swooping down from the trees to peck at their victims. They use their Screech ability to disorient and frighten their targets, making it easier for them to attack with advantage. They prefer to target isolated individuals, attempting to drain their life force with Soul Leech. They are cunning and will use hit-and-run tactics, retreating to higher branches if they are in danger of being defeated. They work in a coordinated manner, often attacking in groups to overwhelm their prey.
