Description
Tactics and Behavior
Abrians are cunning and vicious creatures that operate in flocks led by an older female. They are territorial and aggressive, attacking anything they encounter, especially if it seems like easy prey. They use hit-and-run tactics during combat, attempting to disorient foes with their shrieks and focusing on isolated targets. Abrians are known for their ability to coordinate attacks, dividing into multiple groups to surround and overwhelm their opponents.
Habitat and Society
Abrians are native to the Lower Planes and have spread to other planes, including the Outlands. They gather in flocks, led by an older female and aided by males and even a shaman in some cases. They establish nests in caves, ruins, and dense forests. The nests can contain young abrians, eggs, and occasionally stolen treasures.
Their nomadic lifestyle leads them to constantly seek new hunting grounds, devastating areas before moving on. Abrians have little concept of civilization and rarely engage in meaningful communication with other creatures. Attempts at trade or interaction often end in violence.
Ecology
Abrians originated in the Lower Planes but have expanded their territory to other planes. They are voracious predators and can cover vast distances in their quest for food. Their destructive nature leaves a mark on the lands they pass through, as they consume resources and lay waste to their surroundings.
