Blazing Revival (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). If Wrenn is reduced to 0 hit points, she doesn’t die or fall unconscious. Instead, she regains 83 hit points. In addition, she summons three smoke mephits in unoccupied spaces within 5 feet of her. The mephits are under Wrenn’s control and act immediately after Wrenn in the initiative order. Additionally, Wrenn can now use the options in the “Mythic Actions” section. Award a party an additional 5,900 XP (11,800 XP total) for defeating Wrenn after she uses Blazing Revival.

Fire Adept. If Wrenn chooses, plant life is immune to fire damage dealt by Wrenn or creatures she summons.

Fortitude. If damage reduces Wrenn to 0 hit points, she can make a Constitution saving throw with a DC equal to 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is necrotic or from a critical hit. On a successful save, she drops to 1 hit point instead.

Illumination. Wrenn sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.

Legendary Resistance (2/Day). If Wrenn fails a saving throw, she can choose to succeed instead.

Magic Resistance. Wrenn has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Speak with Beasts and Plants. Wrenn can communicate with beasts and plants as if they shared a language.

Unusual Nature. Wrenn doesn’t require food, drink, or sleep.

Actions

Multiattack. Wrenn makes two attacks.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (3d8) bludgeoning damage, unless Wrenn rolled a 20 on the d20 for the attack roll, in which case the attack is a critical hit that deals 81 (18d8) bludgeoning damage instead. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or become restrained by twisting vines for 1 minute. A target restrained in this way can use an action to make a DC 15 Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Wildfire. Ranged Spell Attack: +7 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (4d6) fire damage.

Spellcasting. Wrenn casts one of the following spells, requiring no material components and using Wisdom as the spellcasting ability (Save DC 15, +7 to hit with spell attacks):

Legendary Actions

Wrenn can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Wrenn regains spent legendary actions at the start of her turn.

Attack. Wrenn makes one attack.

Charm (Costs 2 Actions). Each Beast or Humanoid of Wrenn’s choice within 30 feet of her must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or become charmed by Wrenn until the end of her next turn.

Fey Step (Costs 3 Actions). Wrenn teleports, along with any equipment she is wearing or carrying, to an unoccupied space she can see within 30 feet of her. She can then make one Slam attack with advantage. If the attack hits, but is not a critical hit, the attack deals an extra 27 (6d8) fire damage.

Mythic Actions

If Wrenn’s Blazing Revival trait is active, she can use the options below as legendary actions.

Teamwork. Wrenn makes a Slam attack, and then one mephit Wrenn can see within 30 feet of her can use its reaction to make a melee attack.

Cauterizing Flames (Costs 2 Actions). Wrenn emits a burst of flame. Each creature of Wrenn’s choice within 10 feet of her must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. Each creature takes 16 (3d10) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If one or more creatures fail the saving throw, Wrenn gains 10 temporary hit points.
