Actions

Throw proximity mine: The wretched pest throws (30ft) a proximity mine in random direction. The proximity mine inhabits a 5ft square and is considered a small construct. The proximity mine goes of when somebody enter it's range (5ft square). Each creature within range must succeed on a DC 10 dexterity saving throw or take 2d8 fire damage and be pushed 5ft away from the proximity mine. A creature can safely enter the mine's range by succeeding a DC 12 stealth check and dismantle it with a DC 15 dexterity(thieves' tools) check.

Description

Wretched Pest are spirits made up of the ashes of multiple deceased mortals. These spirits take up residence in burial urns and hide among pottery to cause trouble for other Underworld residents.

Pests have no direct attacks. Instead, they throw proximity mines around the field which trigger when approached or when the Pest is defeated.

The ashes of the dead are copious within the Underworld, sometimes congealing into awful little spirits keen to cause whatever strife and mischief that they can. These wretches house themselves in long-forgotten urns, almost like underwater crabs choosing ignoble homes from derelict sea-shells.'
