Phasing. As a bonus action, the Wraith Spider can partially phase out of existence until its next turn. Creatures that attack the Spider until then have disadvantage at doing so, unless they attack with a weapon or spell that deals Force damage.
Volatile. When the Wraith Spider if killed, roll a d100. On a 70+, the Spider erupts into an elemental vortex. Each creature within 10ft. of the Spider must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 6d4 Force damage.
Spider Climb. The Wraith Spider can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without making an ability check.
Multiattack. The Wraith Spider makes 2 attacks with its Pincers.
Pincers. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: # (1d6 + 4) slashing damage.
Description
The gaunt and mutated form of a Phase Spider. Wraith Spiders were born from reentering the Material Plane within an area of high-elemental concentration, fusing its volatile chaos into its form, and driving it mad with hunger and survival instincts.
