Bone Spikes. The Zombie Manticore has 12 tail spikes. Should the Zombie Manticore run our of tail spikes, it may tear bone shards from itself to launch instead, taking 1d4 piercing damage for each one.

Undead Fortitude. If damage reduces the zombie to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant or from a critical hit. On a success, the zombie drops to 1 hit point instead.

A manticore has a vaguely humanoid head, the body of a lion, and the wings of a dragon. Its long tail ends in a cluster of deadly spikes that can impale prey at impressive range.
