Stars of Luna. This creature has an inherent attachment to the ethereal plane existent behind the moon's glow, into the realm of stars and madness. As such, it has resistance to radiant and necrotic damage.
Spellcasting. Yvallah's Morphology is a 5th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence. It has a spell save DC of 15 and a +7 to hit.
Yvallah's Morphology has the following Wizard spells prepared: Haste, Slow, and Enlarge/Reduce.
These spells can be cast a total of 3 times a day before going inert, at which point Yvallah's Morphology will gain the following trait while in humanoid form.
Astral Beacon. This creature may begin to channel magic's anathema and dull the influences of Conscience on the world. The following spells may be cast once each by this creature in its humanoid form, so long as it can no longer make use of its previous spell list: True Polymorph, Control Weather, and Regenerate
Once a spell is cast this way, it may only be cast again after Yvallah's Morphology is gifted to another user who has been baptized within Yvallen rituals.
If all three of these spells are cast without being restored through the above ritual passing, the item goes inert for one thousand years before returning to the flesh of Yvalleh's Warden.
Dodge. Until the start of your next turn, any attack roll made against you has disadvantage if you can see the attacker, and you make Dexterity saving throws with advantage. You lose this benefit if you are incapacitated or if your speed drops to 0.
Shocking Grasp. Melee Spell Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 9 (2d8) lightning damage.
Fire bolt. Ranged Spell Attack: +7 to hit, range 120 ft., 1 target. Hit: 11 (2d10 ) fire damage.
Once per day, this creature may use its bonus action to return to its master's side, appearing from an inky morass of slithering shadows intermixed with pin-holes of starlight. There is no upper limit on the distance this teleportation may cover. The creature will appear within a 5ft square of the master's choosing. This ability supersedes anti-magic effects, though if introduced to anti-magic influence after its arrival, the creature will summarily reduce itself back to its item stage and lose all magical properties until this influence is removed.
Amorphous Reality. Y'vallah's Morphology is a sentience made up of chaotic, non-material that does not have to obey the laws of the material world. When hit by an attack or suffering a damaging spell effect, this creature may use its reaction to detach itself from physical law and gain resistance to all incoming damage.
Description
Loyal Hound's Leash. Y'vallah's Morphology depends very much on the nature, intent, species, and origin of its current master. Though it holds a great favor and love for its original people, it is willingly forced into adopting something akin to the master's mental state and image of an ideal, servile companion.
Its only consistent qualities are the presence of obsidian material and a fleshy, marble-seeming substance intermixed within its form. While an item, these two will make up the main body of its construction. While in humanoid form, this dichotomy may be found in the color of its body and clothing.
