Draconic Connection. The wyvern can magically communicate with its partner as long as they are within 1 mile of each other. 

Draconic Life Force. The wyvern cannot die. If its hit points should be reduced to 0, it instead enters a dormant state. While in this state, it is considered incapacitated, though it can still walk. After finishing a long rest, the wyvern awakens with full hit points.
