Mimicry: The Crow-Raccoon is able to mimic sounds and voices it hears. It can imitate spoken words without an accent, natural sounds, and animal noises it hears. Creatures hearing these mimicked noises can make an Insight check to determine if these noises are fake, and must beat a DC 14.
Keen Scent: The Crow-Raccoon has a very strong sense of smell, and gets advantage on perception checks involving smells.
Sentience: Forest/Feywild magic has granted this specific Crow-Raccoon with increased intelligence and improved vocal cords, much to the party's regret and chagrin.
Description
The Crow-Raccoon, aka the Crowcoon, is a tiny bird-like creature with both fur and feathers. Its wings are black and feathered, while the body is often plump, with grey and black striped fur. It has a characteristic "mask" of black around its eyes, and the eyes are intelligent and ringed with yellow. It has a sharp, curved beak.
Personality-wise, crowcoons are a social animal that does best with close bonds to others. They bond well to other intelligent beings, but with little docility.
Wild crowcoons pose a major pest issue to urban environments and have been known to hassle other animals out of their territories.
Also, they will literally fight gods for half a bagel.
