Description
Once a powerful Scrivener and Astral Explorer, Zarean was dedicated to the expansion of arcane knowledge through Scrivenering arts, through communing with ancient powers and learning from as many practitioners as possible with an unaging lifespan and a thirst of knowledge. One day, he was led to a trap, encountering a ravenous being of mutation and magic, a creature writhing in the depths of the expanse. Zarean realized the potential such a creature had, and offered himself to it, in exchange for further magical knowledge. Becoming a Privateer of Chaos, Zarean set out into the cosmos, rising through the ranks of their organization, hoping to dismantle the opposition to true life.
