Limited Magic Immunity. The yzin can't be affected or detected by spells of 3rd level or lower unless it wishes to be. It has advantage on saving throws against all other spells and magical effects.
Ascended Nature. The yzin doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep. In addition, when the yzin starts its turn in the area of an antimagic field spell or another area that is similarly devoid of magic, it begins to suffocate.
Polyspatial. The yzin can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing, and it can enter a hostile creature's space and stop there. It is not affected by physical bindings that would restrain any part of its body, including magical items. Attack rolls against the yzin have disadvantage if it moved on its last turn.
Innate Spellcasting. The yzin's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components and with a range of self:
At will: misty step, invisibility
3/day each: dimension door, clairvoyance, true seeing
1/day each: foresight
Multiattack. The yzin makes four Eldritch Claw attacks.
Eldritch Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) slashing damage and 5 (1d10) force damage.
Description
There has long been conjecture about the ways humanity would evolve if able to survive for the eons such substantial change would take, but in the Yzin race, there is an answer. From the little information that has been acquired about these creatures, they appear to have once been human, though their bodies and qualities have become so strange and alien that the resemblance is difficult for all but the most skilled biologists to discern.
Evolution Perfected. Yzin have overcome essentially every biological challenge that modern humanity faces. Their skin is a translucent green due to the chlorophyll that has replaced their melanin, enabling photosynthesis. Their eyes have developed the ability to see infrared and ultraviolet hues, and it's suspected they have learned to perceive colors that modern humans couldn't even conceptualize. Yzin have even escaped the need for oxygen; they instead absorb ambient magical energy, using it to fuel many of their bodies' mysterious processes.
Spatial Warp. Since they have no mouth, yzin don't speak; instead, they communicate telepathically. Their minds and wills are so powerful that they can bend and twist light with a mere thought, allowing them to become completely invisible to the naked eye. To further compound the mystery, they seem to exist in a number of spatial dimensions greater than three; it's known that they can move through time as easily as walking forward, and when they move, their bodies constantly shift and warp, as if any given state that they are perceived in is only one of an infinite number of others. Limbs, eyes, hands, and other parts seem to swell into existence mid-air and join with the rest of the body seamlessly, like a hand reaching toward its own reflection in the water, only for another part to shrink and disappear entirely.
