Fire Absorption. Whenever Mark 2 is subjected to fire damage, it takes no damage and instead regains a number of hit points equal to the damage dealt alongside 1 extra Dragonfire Charge per 10 damage, to a maximum of 3.

Immutable Form. Mark 2 is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.

Magic Resistance. Mark 2 has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Magic Weapons. Mark 2's weapon attacks are magical.

Actions

Multiattack. Mark 2 makes two greatsword attacks.

Greatsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit: 20 (2d6 + 14) slashing damage.

Burning Bullet (Costs 1 Dragonfire Charge). Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 60/120ft, one target. Hit: 3 (1d6) piercing damage plus 11 (2d10) fire damage.

Fireball (Costs 3 Dragonfire Charges). range 150ft, each creature in a 20ft sphere must make a DEX saving throw, taking 28 (8d6) fire damage on a failure and half as much on a success.

Pillar of Flame (Costs 6 Dragonfire Charges). each creature in a 60ft line must make a DEX saving throw or take 56 (16d6) fire damage on a failure, and half as much on a success.

Bonus Actions

Dragonfire Overload. Mark 2 takes 16 (3d10) force damage and gains an additional two Dragonfire Charges.

Legendary Actions

Mark 2 can take 2 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Mark 2 regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Greatsword. Mark 2 makes one greatsword attack.

Burning Bullet (Costs 1 Dragonfire Charge). Mark 2 makes one Burning Bullet attacks.

Description

The second version of the Automaton Draconic Enforcer is a 9 foot tall robotic humanoid, with a head fashioned to look like an adult red dragon. Built by the Cult of the Dragon to replace and improve upon the traitorous Mark 1, this unstoppable automaton is a deadly enemy to any who oppose the Cult. Powered by an ever-burning dragonfire core, Mark 2 never needs to rest, allowing it to fight for days on end if it needs to, making it a relentless hunter and warrior. However, while its physical and magical abilities are greatly enhanced compared to those of the Mark 1, the Cult significantly reduced its cognitive ability to ensure that it would not develop a conscience in the way its predecessor did. While its wits may not be as sharp as its blade, A.D.E Mark 2 is still a vicious adversary, and adventurers should avoid direct confrontation whenever possible.
