Traits

Mythic Resistance (3/Day). If Zhulodok is reduced to 0 hit points, it can choose to drop to 1 hit point instead.

Magic Weapons. Zhulodok's weapon attacks are magical.

Void Aura. Any creature that starts its turn within 120 feet of Zhulodok must make a DC 27 Wisdom saving throw or have disadvantage on all attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks until the start of its next turn.

Innate Spellcasting. Zhulodok's spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 27, +19 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

Actions

Multiattack. Zhulodok makes three attacks: one with its Bite and two with its Tentacles.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 44 (6d12 + 10) piercing damage plus 36 (8d8) necrotic damage.

Tentacle. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: 40 (6d8 + 10) bludgeoning damage plus 36 (8d8) psychic damage.

Void Distortion (Recharge 5-6). Zhulodok targets one creature it can see within 60 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 27 Constitution saving throw or take 96 (16d12) force damage and be stunned for 1 minute. The stunned target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Bonus Actions

Void Wave. Zhulodok emits a wave of void energy. Each creature of Zhulodok's choice within 60 feet must succeed on a DC 27 Constitution saving throw or take 45 (10d8) psychic damage and be knocked prone.

Warp Space. Zhulodok teleports to an unoccupied space it can see within 120 feet.

Mind Shatter. Zhulodok targets one creature it can see within 120 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 27 Intelligence saving throw or take 54 (12d8) psychic damage and be frightened until the end of Zhulodok's next turn.

Reactions

Void Touch. When a creature within 15 feet of Zhulodok hits it with an attack, Zhulodok can make one Bite attack against that creature.

Distort Reality. When Zhulodok is targeted by a spell or attack, it can create a distortion in reality, giving itself advantage on the saving throw or causing the attack roll to be made with disadvantage.

Psychic Backlash. When a creature within 120 feet of Zhulodok that it can see uses an ability that requires a saving throw, Zhulodok can force the creature to make a DC 27 Intelligence saving throw, taking 45 (10d8) psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Warp Void. When Zhulodok takes psychic damage, each creature within 60 feet of it must make a DC 27 Intelligence saving throw, taking 36 (8d8) psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Reality Shift. When Zhulodok is hit by an attack, it can use its reaction to teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space it can see.

Legendary Actions

Zhulodok can take 5 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Zhulodok regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Tentacle Attack. Zhulodok makes one tentacle attack.

Move. Zhulodok moves up to its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

Mental Assault (Costs 2 Actions). Zhulodok targets one creature it can see within 60 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 27 Intelligence saving throw or take 54 (12d8) psychic damage and be stunned until the end of Zhulodok's next turn.

Reality Tear (Costs 3 Actions). Zhulodok creates a 20-foot-radius sphere of warped space centered on a point it can see within 120 feet. The area is difficult terrain for all creatures except Zhulodok. When a creature enters the area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it must make a DC 27 Dexterity saving throw, taking 72 (16d8) force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Eldritch Command (Costs 3 Actions). Zhulodok targets one creature it can see within 120 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 27 Wisdom saving throw or be forced to use its reaction to move up to its speed and make one melee attack against a creature of Zhulodok's choice.

Mythic Actions

If Zhulodok's mythic trait is active, it can use the options below as legendary actions for 1 hour after using Mythic Resistance.

Void Pulse (Costs 2 Actions). Zhulodok emits a pulse of void energy. Each creature of Zhulodok's choice within 60 feet must succeed on a DC 27 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed until the end of Zhulodok's next turn.

Void Rift (Costs 3 Actions). Zhulodok tears a rift in reality. Each creature within 60 feet must make a DC 27 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is banished to a random plane of existence for 1 minute. At the end of each of its turns, the creature can repeat the saving throw, returning to the space it left or the nearest unoccupied space if that space is occupied, on a success.
